Tell Danielle Smith: “Call a Public Inquiry!”

The allegations contained in former Alberta Health Services CEO Athana Mentzelopoulos’ recent statement of claim are absolutely shocking. 

If these claims are true, this is the worst scandal and biggest cover-up in Alberta’s history. 

Former Alberta Health Services CEO Athana Mentzelopoulos alleges that Health Minister Adriana LaGrange, with the Premier's office's knowledge, directed the AHS Board to fire the CEO. When the Board refused, the Minister had her Deputy Minister dismiss Mentzelopoulos.

The Premier must fire the Health Minister. And we need a public inquiry.

We, the undersigned residents of Alberta, petition Premier Danielle Smith to fire the Minister of Health, Adriana LaGrange, in light of allegations of political interference with the firing of Alberta Health Services CEO and Board. We demand that a judicial-led public inquiry be conducted to get all the answers Albertans deserve on this scandal.
